Apple Orchard Assistant
FULL-TIME, SEASONAL
Employment Period: Now until November 1, 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30pm
*Weather-dependent schedule
Salary: [$17.50/hour] to [$20.00/hour] Based on experience and qualifications
Job Description
Under the supervision of Éric, the selected candidate will participate in various orchard duties to support seasonal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out orchard maintenance tasks (ie: mowing, pest control )
- Participate in pruning, thinning, or harvesting depending on the season
- Sort, handle, and package apples
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Use tools and equipment according to established procedures
- Collaborate with other team members
- Contribute to maintaining the company’s organic and environmental practices
Profile required
Essential
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Punctuality and reliability
- Team spirit
- Interest in organic and sustainable agriculture
Assets
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or orchard work
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience operating tractors or farm equipment
